How does one tell which perfume is most suited for them?
There is a plethora of choices available which can indeed lead to confusion. Before buying a perfume, ask yourself these simple questions to understand your needs from a fragrance a bit better: (a) `When do I want to wear this fragrance?’ Do you need it for work, for the gym, or for special occasions? (b) `What type of smells am I attracted to?’ Do you like intense smells or are you more attracted to subtlety? (c) `What image am I trying to portray when I wear this fragrance?’ Fragrances can have a powerful influence on your mood and how you come across to others. So, do you want to come across as sexy, professional, macho, serious, or playful? The popular Davidoff Cool Water with its fresh and oceanic smell is ideal for someone who wants to look cool, relaxed and chic, while Azzaro Pour Homme with its sweet and aromatic fragrance is suited for a guy who sees himself as slick and macho. For a guy who wants to convey an image of being powerful and luxurious, I would recommend a fragrance that exudes a warm and spicy smell, like 1 Million by Paco Rabanne, while someone who wants to feel seductive on an evening out should try something sweet and aromatic like Le Male by Jean Paul Gaultier.

How important is it for men to moisturise?
Daily moisturizing is vital for a young, blemish-free and a healthy skin. A man’s skin is about 25% thicker than a woman’s. Androgen (testosterone) stimulation causes an increase in skin thickness. In addition to being thicker, a man’s skin texture is tougher. Regardless of age, men also have a higher collagen density than women.
Apply the moisturiser when the skin is damp. Men with very dry skin should moisturise more than once a day. Oily skin should be moisturised less frequently; light cream or lotion is a good option. Skin can become very dry in winter. It is important to moisturise during this time of the year. It is a good idea to talk to your dermatologist about the best skincare products for your skin.
A good facial cream should be rich in essential fatty acids and oils, vitamins and minerals, nutrients, botanical extracts, and antioxidants (they help prevent skin damages caused by the sun, pollutants, and other harmful environmental elements). A regular grooming regimen should be followed. Along with this drink plenty of water and have a healthy diet.
