Canada is not necessarily known  for its style and fashion. At most, the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will bust out from his office in his well tailored suits and it makes news. On the other hand, Justin Bieber, Hollywood’s most popular Canadian in the world has blended into the LA scene, which now qualifies him as an American. Amidst all of these stylish personalities, teen TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation was quietly fostering the celebrity of Aubrey Drake Graham who now goes by just “Drake”.

Drake, who’s now a rapper, has mastered music just fine. Everything from Started From The Bottom to Hotline Bling, the man has everyone dancing to his tunes, even the President of the United States Donald Trump (but in a Saturday Night Live parody). What he did along the way was create a style for himself that makes him a potential candidate to be the international style icon the world needs. Sweatpants are now fashionable enough for a nightclub. Gold chains aren’t tacky anymore. The autumn/winter wardrobe that Drake sports on his Instagram is doable by even a kid in South East Asia (that’s basically how 18 year old Filipino Rich Chigga was made). And there’s pictorial evidence, too.
