This year’s BAFTA Awards were held at the Royal Opera House, London and attended by the biggest names in the industry, who managed to create a lot of buzz with their fashion choices. From the award presenters to the nominees, everyone was dressed to kill, giving us a glimpse of their red-carpet style moments and what one could expect at the Oscars, later this month.
So here is a look at the best dressed men who graced the occasion with their impeccable sense of style:
Stephen Fry
Stephen Fry, the host of this year’s BAFTAs, wore a bespoke peak lapel green velvet jacket, double breasted scoop from waistcoat, formal Marcella shirt, trousers and bow tie.
Cuba Gooding Jr.
Well-known for his roles in Jerry Maguire and Men of Honour, Cuba Gooding Jr. wore a black shawl collar dinner suit, formal pleat front shirt and bow tie.
Eddie Izzard
Eddie Izzard, known for his roles in Valkyrie and The Riches, wore a black peak lapel dinner suit, formal pleat front shirt and a bow tie.
Blake Harrison
Renowned for his roles in Dad’s Army and The Inbetweeners, Blake Harrison wore a shawl collar velvet print jacket, formal Marcella shirt, trousers and bow tie.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, the presenter of Best Original Music BAFTA Award, wore a navy peak lapel dinner suit, formal pleat front shirt and black tie.
Riz Ahmed
Riz Ahmed wore a navy peak lapel dinner suit, formal Marcella shirt and navy tie. Riz is renowned for his roles in Nightcrawler and Four Lions.
Asif Kapadia
Asif Kapadia, the winner of this year’s BAFTA for the best documentary, wore a black peak lapel dinner suit, white formal shirt and bow tie.
Luxury Menswear brand, Hackett London is the Official Menswear Stylist for the fifth consecutive year and has dressed some of the biggest names at the 2016 BAFTA Award ceremony.
Hackett also dressed Star Trek into the Darkness star, Noel Clarke and Fall and Humans star Colin Morgan, who wore a black peak label dinner suit.
