On the third day of Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2020, fashion house Louis Vuitton returned to the City of Lights to showcase their latest collection on the runway by creative director Virgil Abloh.
Abloh sent down a set of tailored looks on the runway that were inspired by ‘Heaven’. The models were dressed in seasonal colour palettes of mahogany browns, blacks, greys along with vibrant pinks and blues that were featured on the layering clothing pieces. Some of the outfits that strutted down the runway were embellished with LV logos that were recreated as Louis Vuitton-shaped clouds.
The designer’s line up of modern men’s suiting and outerwear was followed by the seven cloud-printed looks coordinated with the runway. The outfits were completed with bionic pieces, which gave chrome, sci-fi effect, and were coordinated with the reflective sunglasses that accessorised the looks.
The collection was about being open-minded and free within the constrictions of tailoring that was complemented by a surrealist set.
