The fashion industry has suffered in huge amounts due to the spread of Coronavirus around the world. With the outbreak of the virus, numerous shows and future events had to be postponed or cancelled out altogether. A large number of Asian editors, buyers, and influencers were noticeably absent from Paris Fashion Week. A handful of Asia–based brands were unable to present their collections.

VERSACE

Versace has decided to postpone its forthcoming Cruise show. The runway show was supposed to take place on 16 May in the US. The fashion house cancelled the show as they are prioritising the health of its guests and employees.

 

CHANEL

Chanel was meant to host a Métiers d’Art show in Beijing this May, but plans have been postponed due to the country being on lockdown.

 

GUCCI

Gucci postponed its cruise 2021, which was originally meant to take place in San Fransisco on May 18.

 

GIORGIO ARMANI

Giorgio Armani has postponed its November event, which was scheduled to take place in Dubai on 19 and 20 April.

 

PRADA

Prada made the decision to postpone its upcoming cruise 2021 show. It was meant to take place in Japan on May 21.

 

RALPH LAUREN

According to WWD, Ralph Lauren has made the decision to cancel an upcoming show due to the virus outbreak.

 

RAKUTEN FASHION WEEK

Rakuten Fashion Week, which was originally set to take place between March 16-21 was called off by the organizers due to the Coronavirus epidemic.
