Dior is teaming up with Musee du Louvre to help restore Tuileries Garden. The garden is one of the largest and oldest public parks in Paris and links the Louvre to the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. Also, it is home to over 40 statues by Auguste Rodin, Louise Bourgeois and many more.

The collaboration is a five-year project, which will see the reopening of the wooded area of the park, as well as a number of other restorations.

“This patronage brings home a message that is more vital now than ever,” the luxury house said in a statement to WWD. “Each of us can be an agent of change for the ecosystems of tomorrow, whether natural or cultural.”

The creative director of women’s wear, Maria Grazia Chiuri showcased her fall ready-to-wear collection in a temporary structure built over the octagonal fountain near the park’s entrance on Place de la Concorde. The location is distinct from the Espace Éphémère des Tuileries, which traditionally hosts fashion shows and other events.
