The CFDA has released a schedule for the upcoming New York Fashion Week Spring/ Summer 2021.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, the event will be staged with precautions in place including social distancing, required face masks, and attendee limits. Starting from September 13 to September 16,this time the fashion week will see limited brands such as Tom Ford, Eckhaus Latta and Chromat. Many brands chose to go seasonless and few of them are skipping the season.

Those scheduled to show during the first two days of the event include Jason Wu and Jonathan Simkhai, whereas the other half includes line up of Anna Sui, LaQuan Smith and Sandy Liang. But for the most part, it’s going to be a very digital season, with designers and brands showing via the CFDA’s Runway360 platform.

“The innovative Runway360 digital platform… allows brands the flexibility to show their collections in a variety of formats and at a time that works for them, and engages domestic and international press, consumers and retailers, most of which are not currently able to travel to New York,” the CFDA said in a statement.
