With the magnificence of Jaipur's City Palace in the background and under the bright moon, U.S. Polo Assn, in collaboration with Pacho, launched a capsule line inspired the rich history of Jaipur. The collection embodies the heritage, royal family, and polo traditions that define the city. Each piece is crafted, drawing from the architectural marvels and majestic motifs of the City Palace, while incorporating the elegance and regal charm of Jaipur’s iconic Panchranga flag.
Set to debut in the Autumn-Winter 2024, it features rich fabrics, intricate Zardosi crest detailing, and a fine design language that blends the essence of the brand with heritage and vibrancy of the pink city. It is effortless, high on comfort while keeping it stylish with a touch of royal heritage. At the launch of the collection, MW caught up with Pacho to know about his idea of comfort, his favourite piece from the collection, and how his personal style has come out in this collection through selected colours, textures and designs.
How does this collection reflect your personal definition of style?
This collection is elegant and timeless, sophisticated and contemporary at the same time. The simplicity of its design reflects my personal definition of style very accurately.
Which is the most interesting piece for you from the whole collection?
Rather than focus on any one piece I would like to draw your attention to the attention to detail that you will find in every piece that sets it apart. Each piece is unique, but fits beautifully together as a whole, exemplifying all that’s best about Polo, USPA and my style.
What’s the most important factor for you when it comes to putting style and comfort together?
Simplicity. Great fits, good cuts, comfort that is stylish is easy if you follow classic patterns that suit everyone and don’t complicate designs overly. A brand that appeals to sportsmen and athletes must be the perfect blend of both–comfort and style.
One thing or style you’ll never wear or try?
Skinny jeans and loud patterns and prints!
