Shamita Shetty has been in the news because of the Raj Kundra pornography case and the makers of Bigg Boss OTT wanted to cash on her popularity. The latest buzz is that the makers have approached Shetty to enter the BB OTT house with special powers and the actress has agreed to enter the show.
News reports in Peeping Moon suggest that just like Ameesha Patel’s stint as a maalkin in the last season of the show, Shetty will also get powers to rule the house. Shamita Shetty has already been a part of the show when she entered the BB house in season 9, so it is safe to say that she already has an idea of how the game works and her entry will prove to be successful for the makers of the show.
Apart from Shetty, Mallika Sherawat was also approached for the show for the second time. She was offered the same role as the maalkin of the house. She refused to enter the house because she did not agree to the terms and conditions applied to her entry into the house.
A source close to the development told SpotboyE, “Mallika was approached to participate in the show for six long weeks and was supposed to stay like a contestant but with special powers. As she will be on a secret task assigned by Bigg Boss. Though the actress was keen on doing the show she didn’t want to be a contestant on the show. And hence she turned down the offer again.”
As per reports in SpotboyE, the Bigg Boss OTT‘s list of contestants is finalised and who’s who of the industry are rumoured to have given a nod to the reality show. The list includes names like Anushka Dandekar, Ridhima Pandit, Manasvi Vashist, Zeeshan Ali, Karan Nath, Divya Agarwal, Pratik Sehajpal, Urfi Javed, Akshara Singh, Neha Malik, and Pavithra Lakshmi.
