On her birthday, actor and television host Shibani Dandekar has tattooed the name of her boyfriend Farhan Akhtar on her neck.
She reshared an image of the tattoo via her Instagram stories, originally shared by her tattoo artist who goes by Mr K. In the story, her face isn’t visible but the word Farhan is written on the side of her neck in running handwriting. “Inked by the best,” she wrote along with the picture.
She reshared another image of her getting another tattoo, this one on the hand. The second image was clicked by Akhtar.
Farhan Akhtar, in return, took to Instagram to wish his girlfriend a happy birthday. He paired a monochrome image of the two together with a short, heartfelt message. “With all my heart.. happy birthday Shu. Love you. @shibanidandekar,” he wrote.
Dandekar celebrates her 41st birthday. The couple has been together for three years.
Akhtar shares two children – Shakya and Akira – with ex-wife and hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani.
However, Dandekar and Akhtar do not have matrimony on their mind for now.
“Everybody is asking me that question. Honestly, the topic has not come up, but I have told people that I will figure it out and let you know. As of now, there’s nothing to it yet,” she had famously said in an interview where she was asked about the plans of the two tying the knot anytime soon.
During the interaction, she also said that the lockdown, which they spent living together, has helped them get to know each other ‘much quicker’ than they would have otherwise.
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar was last seen in Toofaan alongside Mrunal Thakur. He will be in the director’s chair after almost a decade for a road trip film, Jee Le Zara which will star Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
