RRR has been ruling the box office for the longest time now, with the film crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark soon after its release. The film starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR also recieved appreciation globally. Now the SS Rajamouli’s directorial has created history that no one saw coming.

The film has surpassed the Rotten Tomatoes score of one of the higest-grossing film, Avengers: Endgame. Apart from RRR being included in their Best Films of 2022 list, it is almost on par with the superhero flick. The film is ranked at 46 with a 91 percent critics rating, and 94 percent audience rating. Avengers: Endgame, on the other hand, has 94 percent in critics rating and 90 in audience rating.

The final scenes of RRR  do hint at a sequel, and just like with Baahubali, Rajamouli could roll out a sequel of this film as well. Shedding light on the same, Charan and NTR recently said they would not mind being a part of another Rajamouli film, especially if it is a sequel to this film.

The period drama also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in extended cameos. The film that was announced in March 2018, has its soundtrack and background score composed by Rajamouli’s brother M.M. Keeravani with its cinematography by KK. Senthil Kumar and editing is taken care of by A. Sreekar Prasad.
