Rashmika Mandanna is all set to mark her Bollywood debut with Mission Majnu. But even before she could entertain her fans with her first Hindi film, the actress signed another Bollywood film starring Amitabh Bachchan. Titled Goodbye, the shooting for the film started a few months back. Talking about her experience, Mandanna has now opened up about working with the veteran actor.

In a recent interview with a leading publication, the south actress said, “It has been amazing shooting with him. When you shoot for a long time, you gel with the other actors really well. It’s this blend, which gives performances that are really fun. I’ve been grateful enough to be doing that. We give out performances, and when people see your comfort, the director and everyone, they’re happy. It has been crazy.”
Goodbye boasts of an ensemble cast including names like Neena Gupta and Pavail Gulati. The team has been extensively shooting for the film in Mumbai and a picture of Bachchan from the sets of the film had earlier leaked online. The picture was shared online by a fan account of Mandanna’s. It showed Bachchan and the actress in the same frame. The actor was seen wearing a pink shirt paired with a dark green-coloured half-jacket, Mandanna could be seen opting for a grey top.
Pavail Gulati, who was roped in for the film recently, will essay the role of Bachchan’s son in the film which is centred around a funeral. The film marks Gulati’s second collaboration with Big B. The two have earlier worked in the TV series titled Yudh.

Opening up about working with the megastar, the Thappad actor said, “Goodbye is a very special film for me with my very special friends. Absolutely thrilled and excited to be part of it. What makes it even more special is to get an opportunity to work with a legend like Mr Amitabh Bachchan sir again. It is indeed an amazing feeling.”
“This is my second collaboration with Balaji Telefilms, Ekta and Ruchikaa and I couldn’t be happier about this reunion. Can’t wait to embark on this exciting journey and I’m certain it’s going to be a fun riot shooting with Rashmika and Amitabh sir,” Pavail Gulati added.
