Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor Khan Bring The Sass On Koffee With Karan

The two “privileged hotties” – as KJo called them – were their usual confident selves

The sixth season of Koffee With Karan is over and as can be expected from the godfather of the Bollywood film industry, Karan Johar saved the best for the last. The finale episode of the popular talk show featured our favourite desi girl, Priyanka Chopra and the Queen of all she surveys, Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The trailer for this particular episode had drummed up some major excitement with many hoping that the two superstars would bring some panache back to the show. The sixth season was not the best we’ve witnessed so far – yes, the usual suspects like Kajol and Deepika Padukone were great but then we also had to put up with Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria and (brrr) Tiger Shroff.

The two “privileged hotties”, as KJo called them, were their usual confident selves – Khan didn’t give too many fucks (what’s new?) and PC was a total rock star. They spoke about their ‘catty’ journey on the show – the actresses weren’t exactly fans of each other, what with criticising accents and making shady comments on each others’ careers.

KJo also spoke about a Bollywood WhatsApp group called ‘Guts’ wherein Kareena Kapoor Khan shares fashion faux pas made by others, apparently. The story about her secret social media accounts came up, as well.

Taimur Dolls were brought up (Kareena hates them, btw), Varun Dhawan’s dating life was discussed and the fact that going to Hollywood should not be treated as the pinnacle of success was also debated on.

While nothing extraordinary was discussed nor any major secrets revealed, the episode was a laugh riot and a fun fest simply because of the star power the three of them collectively possess. Khan and Johar have been besties for a long time and that dynamic was on full display and PC (as always) looked like she knew exactly when the world was going to end (and how).
