Siddiqui sat down for a chat with Curly Tales for their Sunday Brunch With Zomato when he talked about how he does not believe in astrology at all. He said that it is only hard work that can get a man success. He went on to say that he has been living the life he desired because of his motto of hard work and dedication. He denounced the actors who change names according to astrology for more success in life.

“No, I don’t believe in anything. Look, I don’t have any rings or bracelets; I have never worn them.” He went on to say that many people work like donkeys but don’t get very far in life. This is because they don’t use their brains. He added that God has given a brain to everyone, and using it wisely will always pay off in the future.

“People work like donkeys… I’m sorry, I shouldn’t be saying this, but people who work without using their brains don’t get very far. God has given you a brain, if you use it and work hard, then it pays off. I am still unconvinced about the importance of luck. I might change my mind later, but as of this moment, I remain unconvinced,” he added.

Taking a case of actors who change their names, he added, “They must have some personal agendas, they must hate their names. I love my name, and this is the only correct way to spell it. Or maybe they’re insecure.”

Workwise, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in Sudhir Mishra’s Serious Men.
