Dua Lipa announced her Future Nostalgia 2022 tour. She will be joined by Megan Thee Stallion, Caroline Polachek and Lola Zouai on the North American tour.

 

“I’m so thrilled to tour again and see my angels in person! How amazing that we all get to dance and celebrate together once again,” the singer said in a statement announcing the road trip, which will also hit Atlanta, Boston, Toronto, Minneapolis, Dallas, Las Vegas and Seattle before winding down at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, on April 1.

“When I was writing Future Nostalgia, I imagined the songs being played in clubs on nights out with your mates. I’m so excited that this fantasy is finally coming true. I can’t wait to experience these songs with you together live!”

 

Lipa released her second studio album, Future Nostalgia in 2020 which received critical acclaim. It earned six Grammy nominations including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year and became her first UK number-one album.

iHeartRadio Music Festival

On September 17, the 26-year-old pop star performed her biggest hits from both her self-titled album and her Grammy-winning sophomore album Future Nostalgia at iHeartRadio Festival. She opted for a sparkly purple unitard and wooed the audience with her hits Physical, New Rules, Love Again, Hallucinate and Levitating. She saved one of her biggest hits for last, closing out her setlist with Don’t Start Now.

 

Grammys 2021

At Grammys 2021, Lipa won Best Pop Album for Future Nostalgia. Sher performed her two hits from the album Don’t Start Now and Levitating — and hip-hop star, DaBaby joined her.

 

American Music Awards (AMA)

American Music Awards 2020 saw an extravagant performance from Lipa. She was joined by a troupe of dancers in blue bodysuits as she performed the Future Nostalgia track in front of a celestial backdrop. In the end, she rose up into the sky on wires as glitter rained down around her.

 

BRIT Awards 

For the 2021 BRITS Awards, Lipa performed a medley of her second album. She took the stage by storm with her famous hits from the album. The pop star danced through the tube with dancers and sported a Union Jack outfit as the tube transformed into an incredible stage for the performance.

Dua Lipa‘s ‘Studio 2054’ virtual performance broke online Livestream records with over five million views. The online gig garnered five million not-yet-final views, including over 1.9 million unique log-ins from China, 95,000 from India and 263,264 tickets sold across the regular ticketing platforms, as reported by nme.com.
