Kriti Sanon, as she basks in the glory of her latest, Mimi, has also become a muse for celebrated Indian fashion designer, Manish Malhotra.
For his latest bridal edit, Nooraniyat, in time for the wedding season that will be upon us soon, the designer made a short film. In that film, Sanon can be seen sporting three different looks.
The collection promises to bring back the classic red, swaying back from the pinkish hues that have been becoming a popular choice.
Take, for example, the look with which Sanon is creating quite the stir on social media.
Kriti Sanon’s intricate zardozi, half-sleeve cropped blouse featuring a plunging neckline and shell embellishments on the hemline neckline balances perfectly, with the lehenga with similar work. The sleeves were also similarly graced with elaborate details.
Sanon paired the ensemble set with a floor-sweeping sheer red dupatta, embroidered with similar zardosi work on the borders. It was draped elegantly on her middle-parted sleek hairdo, something that felt very classic of her own personal style.
Her heavy jewellery included floral bracelets, red bangles, kaleera, a mang tikka, matching earrings, a nath, and a traditional heavy choker necklace. The jewellery was balanced with subtle makeup. The red bindis on her eyebrows are certainly a detail not to be missed.
Sharing pictures, Kriti Sanon wrote this might be one of her favourite shoots: “I think that’s my favorite go-to pose! Playing Muse to @manishmalhotra05! The detailing of this lehenga, the work, is just beyond beautiful Manish! One of my most favourite shoots!”
She is being lauded as Param Sundari, a reference to a song from Mimi.
Master Couturier Manish Malhotra opened the second digital edition of India Couture Week 2021, which streamed on Fashion Design Council of India’s (FDCI) official handles across social media platforms.
