After being the brainchild behind films like Dil Dhadakne Do, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Gully Boy, the film-maker has roped in Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Adarsh Gourav for yet another interesting project titled Kho Gaye Hum Kahan.

The cast and crew of the film shared the film’s poster and teaser on social media. The poster was shared with the caption, “Find your Friends and you won’t need followers,” and featured the cast taking a selfie. The film will mark Arjun Varain Singh’s directorial debut and will revolve around the theme of friendship.

Director Arjun Varain shared on Instagram, “Feels incredibly surreal to announce my first film as a director! I cannot be more excited to take on the roller coaster that lies ahead. Blessed to have producers that care and support me like only they can! Cannot wait to get the party started with @siddhantchaturvedi @ananyapanday @gouravadarsh .Filming starts Feb 2022!”

 

The script for Kho Gaye Hum Kahan is written by Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Varain, Reema Kagti. The film is backed Tiger Baby Films, owned by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, and Excel Entertainment owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The film is scheduled to release in theatres in 2023.

Apart from this, Chaturvedi and Panday will also be sharing the screen space in Shakun Batra’s next. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in a key role. The team wrapped up the shooting for the film just a few weeks ago. Batra had earlier opened up on the topic of the film and revealed to PTI that it is “a relationship drama where the characters find themselves stuck in a morally ambiguous zone.” The film was planned for February release this year however due to the Covid pandemic led lockdown, the shoot and release date were delayed.
