Khaby Lame is now the second most followed person on TikTok after he overtook Addison Rae’s 81 million followers.

 

As of July 5th 2021, Khaby has 83.5 million followers and over 1.2 billion likes on the platform. Khabane Lame is a 21-year-old Italian-Senegalese internet star, who shot to stardom on TikTok in 2020 after he started creating his own version of ‘life hack’ videos for the video-sharing platform.

The Tiktoker pokes fun at some ‘hack’ clips that take so much time. Instead, the TikToker offers a better and obvious solution for a shorter time. His banana peeling video is one of the most popular ones on his profile which has gained over 267 million views. His hilarious signature facial expressions have made him a huge star on the app, with each of his videos amassing millions and millions of views, likes and comments.

Lame also has two more videos in the Top 10 most liked TikTok videos of all time: One of him removing a mask that is stuck in a cup handle (34.2 million likes) and one of him drinking a glass of water (31.8 million likes). He uploaded his very first TikTok video, a clip of him washing his hands to KRYPTO9095’s ‘WOAH ft. D3Mstreet’, back in March 2020.

 

If you wish to watch his videos on Instagram, he has uploaded many of his popular clips from TikTok. In his bio, he describes himself as a gaming video creator. The social media star has links to his YouTube channel but he hasn’t posted any videos as of now. On Twitter, he can be found at @khabyofficial where he has 240,000 followers.

The comedy TikToker is now just under 36 million followers away from D’Amelio’s 119.2 million record. She became the most followed person on TikTok when she overtook Loren Gray in March 2020.
