Kendall Jenner is being sued by Italian fashion brand Liu Jo for allegedly breaching the terms of a modelling contract requiring her to appear for two photo shoots, according to a legal complaint filed by Liu Jo.

The brand has reportedly asked for $1.8 million in a lawsuit, holding damages over a delayed photoshoot due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lio Jo has claimed that Jenner didn’t turn up for the second of the two organised photoshoots. The suit also states that she had completed the first shoot in July 2019, for which they paid her $1.35 million by February 2020. The second shoot was to be held in London in March 2020 but was delayed due to prevailing travel restrictions.

After the coronavirus pandemic caused a delay with the second shoot, it has been claimed by Liu Jo that both parties had agreed to postpone the shoot to the fall without a confirmed new date though Jenner allegedly stopped responding to the Italian brand, leading to her contract termination after the brand claimed the model was in breach of contract.

Although, the agency handling the model mentioned, “This suit is without merit. ” As reported by E-News, the statement says, “The Society Management, on behalf of Ms Kendall Jenner, has continually offered Liu Jo alternative dates and locations to fulfil an agreement that was forced to be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic.” Jenner’s company also claims that the model has offered to complete her promised commitment to the brand.

Earlier this month, the model was called by a TikToker after she found a bug floating in a sealed bottle of 818, her tequila brand. She said: “Kendall, serious question: Here’s my new bottle of tequila, sealed, unopened. I went to go enjoy a nice shot and I see this floater just hanging out and about in the bottle. Looks like he’s gone through it cuz he only has one wing left, but he’s swimmin’ around in your tequila. Someone’s shot was gonna hit extra hard.”

She later posted another TikTok, wherein she showed that she had received a DM from the official 818 account offering to send her a replacement bottle of tequila. When it arrived, she actually received three bottles of tequila and a branded jacket.
