Kanye West hosted close to 42,000 fans at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Thursday, for the listening party and official unveiling of his long-awaited 10th album Donda, a day before the slated release. The rapper is still at the stadium working on his album, confirmed Heather Sautter, spokesperson for AMB Sports + Entertainment to USA TODAY.
The Associated Press also reports, via an anonymous source, that West has been living inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium since his listening party, and has no plans to leave until he has finished the album.
People have spotted the rapper amongst fans at an Atlanta United soccer match at the stadium on Saturday, clad in the same reddish-orange attire and face-covering balaclava he wore at his unveiling.
He shared an Instagram video of Atlanta United fans chanting “olé” during the match.
Apparently, West and his team have created a studio space, living quarters, and even have a chef to prepare his meals inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The word is, Ye was so inspired by the Donda crowd that he wanted to stay in Atlanta and finish things up. It is unclear if he is just mixing and mastering, or if we would hear new tracks altogether.

The rapper has named the album after his mother, Donda West, who died at the age of 58 following complications in cosmetic procedures back in 2007.
The long-awaited album is a follow up to his 2019 gospel-themed album Jesus Is King, which won a Grammy for best contemporary Christian album.
Initially, the album was expected back in July 2020, however, it was pushed to give West the time to focus on his presidential campaign, amongst other things. Next, it was anticipated on July 23 this year, after West’s wordless unveiling, but is now set to release August 6.
In attendance at the release, amongst many others, was estranged wife Kim Kardashian along with their kids.
West has now been dubbed the Phantom of the Opera.
