Kanye West has reportedly stopped communication with Kim Kardashian. The rapper changed all his phone numbers and told her she could only contact him through his security.
According to Page Six, the rapper had already cut off contact with Kardashian even before they filed for the divorce. Despite all this, the source said the pair are continuing to co-parent their children, and West regularly visits them at home while the reality star is out.
Even before the make up mogul filed for divorce, West changed his numbers and said, ‘You can contact me through my security,’” they explained. “Despite this, she trusts him around the kids. He loves them and is seeing a lot of them. She leaves the house and he arrives and hangs out with the kids. They have an army of nannies so the transition is easy,” as reported by the source.
According to TMZ, the couple are seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children. The outlet reported in March that Kardashian is likely to keep the couple’s Hidden Hills house. West has a ranch in Wyoming where he has spent much of his time over the last few years.
“They have a different vision of the world and how their kids should be raised,” People reported. “Kim will always support Kanye and his causes and encourage him with their kids, but her future with work, family and life in general are strictly up to her. She makes it happen. Kim will continue with her projects and so will Kanye. What they want in life and for their kids doesn’t always match.”
The couple began dating in 2012 and had their first child in 2013. West proposed later that year using the giant screen at the empty waterfront ballpark of the San Francisco Giants, and the two married May 24, 2014, in a ceremony at a Renaissance fortress in Florence, Italy. It was the first marriage for the West, 43, and the third for Kardashian, 40.
