Kangana Ranaut has tested negative for coronavirus.

She shared the news on her Instagram stories on Tuesday and also posted a video where she talks about her fight against the virus and how home remedies helped her recover.

In a post on her Instagram stories, Ranaut wrote, “Hello everyone today I tested negative for covid, I want to say a lot about how I beat the virus but I am told not to offend covid fan clubs…. Yes, there are actually people out there who get offended if you show disrespect towards the virus…. Anyway thanks for your wishes and love.”

Later, she uploaded a video where she spoke about the dos and don’ts if you test positive for novel coronavirus. Take a look at the video below.

Two weeks ago, the actress announced that she tested positive for coronavirus through an Instagram post. She also went ahead to call the virus a ‘small flu’.  “I have quarantined myself, I had no idea this virus is having a party in my body, now that I know I will demolish it, people please don’t give anything any power over you, if you are scared it will scare you more, come let’s destroy this Covid -19 it is nothing but a small time flu which got too much press and now psyching few people. Har Har Mahadev,” she had written in her post. Last week, Ranaut’s Covid-19 announcement post was taken down. She claimed that her post was taken down by Instagram and said that it must have been reported by the ‘Covid fan club’.

Earlier this month, Ranaut’s Twitter account was suspended for violating hate policy. She posted a series of tweets about the recently concluded West Bengal assembly elections. According to a report in Hindustan Times, a Twitter spokesperson has been quoted, “We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behaviour that has the potential to lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service.”
