Kajol has been away from the big screen for quite some time now. She was last seen in the Netflix film, Tribhanga, back in 2021. While the actress keeps her fans entertained with a quirky social media presence, we have been missing her in front of the camera. Well, the good news is that the wait is finally over. 

Soon, the actress will be making her web-series debut on Disney+ Hotstar, which she announced by recreating the iconic ‘palat‘ scene from DDLJ . Dressed in red, she is seen telling her fans about the news of her impending show in a short video, where no further details about the project have been divulged. 

Talking about her web series debut, Kajol said, “Exploring new formats is always a challenge; but it’s a great thing as I love to take challenges head-on. Being an avid fan of digital series, the concept has always been intriguing; and after following cool shows such as Aarya and Rudra, I knew there was no other platform than Disney+ Hotstar to start my series journey.”

Apart from this show, Kajol will also be seen in Salaam Venky, a film that’s being directed by Revathi. It was announced last year in October and also stars Vishal Jethwa and Aahana Kumra in key roles. Aamir Khan is said to have a cameo in the film, too.
