Why Did Johnny Depp Lets Lily-Rose Depp's Abuser Walk Free?
Did Johnny Depp Not Want Lily-Rose Depp’s Rapist To Go To Jail?

And it gets murkier yet again, for Depp

Johnny Depp is controversy’s favorite child. Not too long after the hugely volatile Depp-Heard defamation case, he was back in the news for his alleged relationship with his lawyer. And well, the Pirates of The Caribbean star has been making headlines for a rather distasteful controversy lately. Speculations are rife that the actor is said to have let go of his daughter, Lily-Rose Depp’s rapist.

Lilly, then aged 15, was allegedly involved in a tragic accident involving a 23-year-old man, who was eventually accused of raping the teen. Surprisingly, Depp did not take any action against the man. It now appears that Depp has been assisting his daughter’s rapist all along to avoid jail time, given his decision to not take the investigation any further.

A leaked court document suggests that Lily-Rose got together with a 23-year-old when she was just a minor. The unsealed document revealed, “He was being investigated by the Department of Family Services and the LAPD.”

“I don’t know what the charges were specifically, but she was 15, and the boyfriend, I believe, was 23, and they were living next door to him in one of his condos downtown,” discussed Kump and Mr. Feedman, in a deposition.

The document further read, “He met with both the LAPD and the Department of Family Services, and no charges were filed, and I asked him afterward. I said, well, ‘you couldn’t have told them the truth. And he just smiled.”

The person was also asked, “Do you know, whether or not, in connection with those investigations, Mr. Depp pressurized any of his employees or people who worked for him to make false statements to the authorities?” The answer was, “I don’t know.”

And while Depp may have tried to stop this investigation, Lily-Rose has constantly supported him, even during the defamation trial against Amber Heard. Previously, Lily-Rose wrote about him: “My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know. He’s been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and me, and everyone who knows him would say the same.”
