Hrithik Roshan, who was last seen in War, is currently working on his next titled Fighter. While the film is something his fans are eagerly waiting for, another project that Roshan has is Vikram Vedha. After Aamir Khan walked out of the film, the War actor was reportedly roped in for the film. However, the latest reports suggest that Roshan will be opting out of the film too.

A source close to the development told Bollywood Hungama, “It is very confusing with Hrithik. Unless your movie is on the floors and he is shooting, you can never be assured that he will do the film. Hrithik had happily agreed to do the Vikram Vedha remake with Saif Ali Khan. The makers had worked out a schedule, locked the remuneration and everything was almost going as planned. But lockdown happened and now, Hrithik seems to have decided otherwise. He doesn’t seem keen on doing the Vikram Vedha remake anymore.”

“He begins shooting for Fighter sometime later this year and then he has dates for Krrish 4. So he could only allot dates for one more project and he is choosing to do Disney+ Hotstar’s adaptation of The Night Manager over Vikram Vedha. It is Madhu Mantena who apparently changed his mind on the same, but nobody knows the real reason why he’s suddenly become so unsure of the project.” Earlier, reports also suggested that he walked out of the adaptation of The Night Manager a few weeks ago.

Hrithik Roshan is also reported to play the role of Ravan in Madhu Mantena’s Ramayana. “Duggu had been in talks to play an important role in Deepika’s Draupadi which was a modern retelling of the epic Mahabharat. But that film will happen later. Mantena is bankrolling Ramayana first and Hrithik will play Ravan’s role in the epic period drama,” a source told a leading daily, reports Filmfare.
