Back in 2019, the couple had announced that they have decided for their little one to not have a royal title. So for me, I am clear on who I am independent of that stuff, and the most important title I will ever have is Mom. I know that. But the idea of our son not being safe, and also the idea that the first member of colour in this family not being titled in the same way that other grandchildren would be…”

Prince Harry was elated to be sitting with Markle for the interview. He remembered his mother, Princess Diana, and talked about how difficult it must have been for her sitting for an interview all those years ago. “Because I can’t imagine what it must have been like for her going through this process by herself all those years ago,” he said.
