Hollywood Comes Calling For Johnny Depp's Lawyer Camille Vasquez
Hollywood Has Its Eyes On Camille Vasquez, Johnny Depp’s Lawyer

Will it be law firm, TV show, or both for Camille Vasquez?

Johnny Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez became an overnight sensation, with everyone praising her for the work she did during the Depp vs Heard defamation case . She caught everyone’s eye with her skills and Depp’s fans were in awe of how well she handled the case. Interestingly, Hollywood took notice of this and they are fans too.

The latest buzz is that Vasquez has received a torrent of offers from many leading law firms and Hollywood networks to work with them. After the outstanding work she did during the trial, she is now mulling her options and deciding her next step.

“Talent agents are circling Camille because they recognize that she is the unicorn; a smart, savvy, poised attorney whose impactful performance during the trial propelled her to a rare level of visibility. And the fact that she is a woman of colour is an added bonus,” a source informed the NY Post.

Celebrity lawyer Judd Burstein, who represents Nicki Minaj, confirmed that there have been talks about Johnny Depp’s lawyer coming on board. “No firm would allow her to have a role in a big trial like this if she wasn’t on the partner track. There are two factors that go into making a partner—your quality of lawyering, and ability to attract business. She can probably go anywhere and make a nice deal for herself,” Burstein told the NY Post.

Her current law firm, Brown Rudnick LPP, expressed how pleased they were with Vasquez’s work. “Thrilled that so many people are seeing what we’ve known for years: that Camille Vasquez is a star. We were always confident that she had what it takes to succeed on this stage. That’s why she is a key member of the trial team and has a bright future with us,” the firm stated.

Johnny Depp’s lawyers were unwavering in their dedication during the six-week trial, and it resulted in the jury awarding him $15 million in damages, in contrast to the $2 million awarded to Heard
