After a long wait of three years, the Guardians of the Galaxy family is finally all set to return to the big screen. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 will follow the story post the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame . Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Karen Gillan (Nebula) along with the other cast members will reprise their roles respectively.
The cast has been shooting for the James Gunn film in Los Angeles. Many people speculated that the cast will be seen in new costumes in the finale film and the new leaked pictures from the California set confirmed the same. The cast was spotted in new Marvel Comics designs which are adaptations of the iconic uniforms the team wore in Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning’s series back in 2008.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 would be the last film in the Guardians saga, so be ready for some moments of emotional damage as fans would see some major character deaths. “This is the end for us, the last time people will see this team of Guardians,” Gunn has teased during a podcast. “It’s big; it’s so, so big and dark, and different from what people might be expecting it to be. I just want to be true to the characters, the story and give people the wrap-up that they deserve for the story. That’s always a little bit scary; I’m doing my best,” he added.
However, while this may be an end for the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, Gunn said that while this era of the franchise is ending, the franchise as a whole is not. After all, we do have the Disney+’s The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special in the loop. The special will premiere around Christmas.
The third part of the franchise will also star Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Sean Gunn (Kraglin Obfonteri), Sylvester Stallone (Stakar Ogord), and Zoe Saldana (Gamora). In addition to the returning cast, Guardians 3 will also introduce Marvel cosmic character Adam Warlock played by Will Poulter. Peacemaker’s Chukwudi Iwuki has been cast in a titular role as well.
