Bollywood superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that she was sent to a boarding school in Dehradun by mother Babita Kapoor because she got a little too “naughty and rebellious”. The Jab We Met actress has also revealed that she was involved in an incident with a boy she had a crush on and this incident got her into some serious trouble.
In an interview with veteran Barkha Dutt, Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that she liked a boy in her early teenage years and would want to go out to meet him but naturally, Babita Kapoor disapproved of this. Hence, the rebellious Bebo decided to break into her mother’s room when she was out one day, made plans with the boy on a telephone and left to see him.

“I was around 14-15 and I really liked this boy. My mother was obviously upset about it and being a single mother, she was like, ‘This is not going to happen.’ So she used to lock the phone in her room,” the actress said.
“I obviously wanted to go out with my friends and meet this particular guy. Mum had gone out for dinner. I managed to break the lock like an actual locksmith, with a knife, go into the room, take the phone, make plans and run away from the house. It was that bad,” Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed.
Khan is one of Bollywood’s top-billed actresses and has remained an A-lister in a career spanning over two decades. The actress is married to Saif Ali Khan and is currently expecting her second child. Their first child, Taimur Ali Khan turned four this Sunday.
The actress recently announced that she will be publishing a comprehensive guide to pregnancy. The book is titled Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Pregnancy Bible and will be released next year.

This subject means a lot to me and I hope to create a book that will help and guide other women,” Khan said in a statement.
