Since the announcement, everyone has been dying of curiosity regarding the details of the wedding. The couple has been pretty secretive with the details, but this is what we’ve heard through multiple reports.

Here’s as all you need to know:

The Guest List

According to News 18, The couple intends to invite only close family members and friends. The only Bollywood guests invited, are Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan. Hindustan Times also reported that Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar will also be part of the wedding.

The Ceremony

The couple will reportedly have two wedding ceremonies, as per both, Deepika and Ranveer’s customs, according to Mid-Day.

“Since Deepika is a South Indian and Ranveer is of Sindhi-Punjabi origin, the two families decided to follow customs practised by both communities. A South Indian wedding has been planned for November 14, complete with Kannadiga rituals. The next day will see the couple solemnize their relationship as per the customs of a North Indian wedding (Anand Karaj),” an unnamed source close to the couple, mentioned to Mid-Day.

“The celebrations will be followed by an intimate party on November 15,” the source added.

According to other reports, cell phones will strictly not be allowed at the wedding venue.

The couple also plans to host two separate receptions in India – Mumbai and Bengaluru.

After the three-day ceremony in Italy, the couple will host a lavish reception for their Bollywood friends in Mumbai in December. “The two will host a reception at Grand Hyatt on December 1. As their wedding is an intimate affair, the reception will be a grand one where they will invite their Bollywood friends,” the source said.

According to Pinkvilla, the Padukones have already booked the Leela Hotel’s ballroom, to have another reception for Deepika’s friends and extended family members in Bengaluru on November 21.

The Designer

What will the bride wear, is probably the most important aspect of any wedding, and this one is no different. But if we believe multiple reports that have surfaced up on the internet, Sabyasachi has been selected to be the official wedding designer.

The Venue

The couple will apparently hold a three-day ceremony, at the exquisite Villa del Balbianello, that sits over the beautiful Lake Como. Have a look at the pictures yourself.
