Google has released its list of most searched personalities from India and guess who topped the list? Not Sushant Singh Rajput or Rhea Chakraborty or even PM Narendra Modi. Neither was it Kangana Ranaut.
Google’s most-searched Indian personality was Kanika Kapoor who appeared right after US President-elect Joe Biden and journalist Arnab Goswami. Kanika Kapoor was the first Indian celebrity to contract the coronavirus. Furthermore, the singer also drew major flak after news emerged that she had not followed quarantine rules and even partied.

An FIR was also registered against the singer for negligence and committing acts likely to spread the fatal disease but god knows what happened to that.
Amitabh Bachchan, a living legend that he is, couldn’t beat Kapoor’s record and emerged as the fifth most-searched celebrity on the Internet. Bachchan also tested positive along with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan.
Rhea Chakraborty also featured on the list. The young actor was vilified in the media and on social media as a “gold digger” and “drug peddler” following the death of her former lover, Sushant Singh Rajput. Chakraborty spent a month in jail for allegedly supplying marijuana to Rajput.
