The nominations for upcoming 2021 Grammys have been announced and fans are not happy. Beyonce, Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift led with the nominations. Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles and Chloe x Halle earned their first-time nominations. The show will take place on January 31st 2020. We cannot wait to see who takes home the awards.

Coming to the snubs, The Weeknd not getting nominated for any single category has been the most shocking thing ever. Similarly, Rina Sawayama didn’t get any nomination for her pop debut album. Check out all the five snubs of the year.

THE WEEKND

The Weeknd is the most shocking snub of this year. Over 12 months, the 30-year-old singer has been an unstoppable force on the charts. ‘Heartless’ and ‘Blinding Lights’ were both Number 1 singles and After Hours is one of his most critically acclaimed albums to date.

RINA SAWAYMA

It’s no doubt that Sawayama’s debut album SAWAYAMA deserved a Best New Artist nomination.

MAC MILLER

After being nominated for Best Rap Album for Swimming in 2019, Miller’s fans were hoping that the late rapper would get a nomination for his posthumous album Circles, which received positive reviews from critics and is regarded by many as one of his best works.

HALSEY

The Grammys have a history of overlooking Halsey’s contributions to music and this year is no different. Manic is one of the best-selling albums of 2020 and features hits including ‘Without Me’, ‘Graveyard’ and ‘You should be sad’.

FKA TWIGS

FKA Twigs never fails to impress and her sophomore album Magadelene was met with pretty much universal critical acclaim, which definitely deserved a Grammy nod.
