While Aamir Khan is known as the Mr Perfection of Bollywood, his brother, Faissal Khan, also has carved a name in the industry. Khan younger brother has been away from the limelight for quite some time, and is now making a comeback with his directorial debut titled Faactory.

The trailer for the film was launched on Thursday (August 19) in which he was also seen essaying the role of a rejected lover. His character can be seen singing Hume Tumse Pyar Kitna, for his love interest and emphasising her to reciprocates his feelings. Khan had last appeared in a 2015 Shariq Minhaj film titled Chinar Dastan e-Ishq.

Talking about his directorial debut, Khan said in a statement, “I am glad to take this decision after 30 years and will finally live my mother’s and my dream. I have been involved with Faactory right from the scripting stage and it has been one amazing journey throughout.”

 

Faissal Khan will be making a comeback after seven years. Before the sabbatical, he was a part of films like Mela alongside Aamir Khan and Twinkle Khanna. He had also assisted Mansoor Khan and his late father Tahir Hussain on films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander and Tum Mere Ho. It is believed that Khan was on a break due to his detoriatng mental health.

It was also reported that he and Aamir Khan had a fallout for some reason and hence he decided not to work anymore. These rumours were, however, quashed by Faissal Khan in an earlier interview with Indian Express. “I sit with Aamir during narrations and give my inputs. I evaluate scripts and decide whether Aamir Khan Productions should take the project or not,” he had revealed.

Talking more about Faactory, Khan has co-written the story, screenplay and dialogue for the film. The film has been shot in Maharashtra and Gujrat, and is scheduled to release in theatres on September 3.
