It was one thing that RRR crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark at the box office, but the success became more prominent when the film started receiving acknowledgement globally. The film re-released in the US and many prominent personalities tweeted praising the SS Rajamouli directorial. The newest addition to the list is Dr Strange screenwriter, C. Robert Cargill.
Sharing the film’s poster on Twitter, Cargill wrote, “Friends came over last night to initiate me into the cult of RRR (RISE ROAR REVOLT) and I’m here to report I am now fully, truly, deeply a member. This is the craziest, most sincere, weirdest blockbuster I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure Jess and I are watching it again this week.”
Seeing his tweet, a Twitter user asked if it really was THAT good? Cargill assured him that the film is worth watching by saying, “Yes. I know it looks very much like people are overhyping RRR , but in truth, you can’t. It is a level of spectacle that defies description. It just starts going hard and then never lets up.”
Talking about the runtime of the film, he told another user, “Nope. It’s an epic, for sure, but is so propulsive it never feels like there was something that should be cut.”
Well, it looks like Cargill has become a cult fan and why not. The Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer film has been getting thumbs up from everywhere. The film has earned over Rs 1150 crore at the box office so far.
The final scenes of RRR do leave room for a sequel, and just like Baahubali, there could be a possibility that Rajamouli returns with a sequel of this film as well. Shedding light on the same, Charan and NTR recently said they would not mind being a part of another Rajamouli film, especially if it is a sequel to this film.
