Brahmastra Trailer Starring Ranbir Kapoor As Shiva Launched
Brahmastra Trailer: 10 Years Of Suspense, Drama And Hard Work Finally Comes To Life

The trailer holds the promise of a VFX-loaded, visually stunning movie

Ayan Mukerji took 10 long years to make Brahmastra what it is today. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead, the film is an introduction to the AstraVerse, and is one that will put Indian cinema on the global radar. The much-awaited trailer of the film has finally arrived and we it is a visual treat.

Kapoor plays Shiva who meets Bhatt’s Isha during a DJ gig. Their on-screen romance is charming as a smitten Kapoor tries to woo the beautiful actress. During this, he realises that he has some special powers and is guided to meet Amitabh Bachchan. Big B trains people with special powers for the ultimate goal, which is to save Brahmastra. Nagarjuna is one of them, along with other promising introductions in the trilogy later.

Mouni Roy channels her inner naagin as the antagonist of the film, and, naturally, poses a threat to Shiva and others. The hostility between them and the tale of safeguarding the ultimate power is what makes the first part of the trilogy.

The film is heavy on VFX, and yes, we can safely say that some great efforts have been put to make the trailer look great. Kapoor’s fans will be happy to see him back on the big screen. This is also his first film with Alia Bhatt; so that’s another huge reason for fans to be thrilled. Veteran actors Bachchan and Nagarjuna bring their strong screen presence to the film.

The trailer leaves you with many questions. A number of cameos are expected to be seen in the film, with names like Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone thrown into the mix. Many fans even claimed to have spotted SRK in Brahmastra’s teaser that was shared earlier.

Mukerji’s film will release on September 9th. Brahmastra is a three-part fantasy trilogy. Produced by Karan Johar, the film will release in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film’s logo was revealed by 150 drones at Kumbh during Mahashivratri.
