Brad Pitt Files Lawsuit Against Ex-Wife Angelina Jolie
Has Johnny Depp Inspired Brad Pitt To File A Lawsuit Against Ex-Wife Angelina Jolie?

Another session of jury duty for fans in the making…

Just when people were getting over the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard case, another ex-celebrity couple is dragging their fight to the court. Depp seems to have inspired Brad Pitt to drag his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie to the court for maligning his image and damaging his business of Miraval wines. Legal documents have been submitted by Pitt’s team in court arguing how Jolie intentionally tried to harm his stature.

Back in February, the actor sued Jolie for selling the shares of the vineyard. He claimed that his ex-wife solely took the decision even when the duo had decided not to sell their shares without the consent of either party. Jolie, reportedly, sold her shares to Tenute del Mondo in 2021, four years after they got separated.

Pitt’s legal team accused the Maleficent actress of breach of trust. Their statement read, “Jolie pursued and then consummated the purported sale in secret, purposely keeping Pitt in the dark, and knowingly violating Pitt`s contractual rights.” The team further claimed that the Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler, who controls the Stoli Group, has been desiring to get a hold of “confidential and proprietary information for the benefit of his competing enterprise.”

The statement further suggested that Shefler is involved in “cutthroat business tactics and dubious professional associations,” which are possible threats to Pitt’s “carefully built” Miraval wine business and his reputation. The actor is demanding a trial and the sale to be made “null and void.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bought a controlling stake in the vineyard in 2008. The said vineyard is located South France, along with Château Miraval. It is also the same venue where they couple tied the knot in 2014.
