The trailer for Koffee With Karan, Season 7 has dropped and the anticipation is increasing by the minute. Since the first episode of Season 1 in 2004, this show has managed to keep audiences hooked. This time again, the team at KWK has been able to rope in some of the finest actors from the fraternity to for what is hopefully going to be a riotous tête-à-tête with Karan Johar. And while the episodes generally pan out to have free-flowing conversations, made more fun because of Johar’s ability to get his guests get candid, we’d be lying if we said that the Rapid Fire Round isn’t a key highlight of the show.
If you’re like us, on occasion, you may have wondered what questions can be asked during the exciting round. So, we decided to put it all, pen to paper, and here’s our list — segregated as per the guests, for good mesure. Check it out.
Alia Bhatt
Bhatt has had a penchant for putting her foot in the mouth on this show. But it has been many years since her first botch up, during which time, she’s seriously grown as an artiste. With two major projects, Darlings and Brahmastra, in her kitty, and the recent news of her pregnancy, there’s going to be a lot to unpack when it comes to this A-lister. Here’s what we want to ask her her:
- Since your previous celeb crush is now your husband, who would you replace Ranbir with?
- If you were to be re-casted in a movie you’ve acted in as the male counterpart, which character would that be?
- A controversy that you weren’t part of, but wish that you were?
Ranveer Singh
Ranveer Singh on the show means guaranteed fun and laughter. The actor will be appearing on screen alongside Alia Bhatt, which isn’t a surprise, given their impending release together, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. While many wanted to see Singh with wife, Deepika Padukone, it looks like any and all questions for her will have to be directed via him.
- Everyone is always commenting on your fashion sense. Of them criticism towards which look do you yourself also regret?
- A role you think Alia would have done better than Deepika?
- If you had to delete all but three apps on your phone, which ones would you keep?
Kareena Kapoor Khan
With a big release stacked up next month, we’re sure there’s going to be no dearth of questions when it comes Kareena Kapoor Khan. Plus, her and buddy Karan Johar’s camaraderie makes watching the two together a real treat. Though we’re positive that Johar is going to send a few loaded questions Bebo’s way, here are ours:
- What do you think is the real reason behind the uproar around Taimur and Jeh’s names?
- Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon has become fodder for a million memes and jokes in pop-culture. Are you embarrassed about the film?
- What do you think of Sara Ali Khan’s acting chops?
Shahid Kapoor
After the backlash against his role in the movie, Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor has struggled to come back on top. We’re intrigued to find out all that’s to unfold on the KWK episode featuring him. In terms of tough questions we’d like to ask the actor, here’s our list.
- Why do you think Jersey failed?
- Your wife, Mira Rajput, had said that your burping habit makes her cringe. Which one of her’s do you hate?
- Would you do Kabir Singh again?
Sara Ali Khan
Khan has already debuted on the show with her dad, Saif Ali Khan in 2018, making this her second appearance on the show. The actor is known for being able to connect with her audience and has some serious social media game. Surely, she will be fun to watch on KWK. Here’s what we want to ask her.
- People have been quite critical about your acting. What do you have to say to them?
- Comments you made during an interview with Barkha Dutt have been called racist. Your reaction?
- A lot of people don’t like your knock-knock jokes or poems on Instagram. Are you okay with that?
Kiara Advani
Advani is on a roll with major releases in her kitty, and the kind of projects she is choosing to do is working well in her favour since she is getting the much-needed appreciation for them. But there is so much more we want to know about her.
- One movie you said no to and now you regret it?
- Recently, you defended your role in Kabir Singh. But do you understand why people have an issue with it?
- Jug Jugg Jeeyo has killed it in the box office, but failed to garner critical acclaim. How do you feel about that?
