Amitabh Bachchan has given the audience many iconic roles to remember him for, but the actor still manages to outdo himself with every new project. Bachchan will be seen essaying the role of a football coach in Nagraj Manjule’s Bollywood directorial, Jhund. And from what we can see in the newly released trailer, we sure know that the audience is in for another pleasant surprise from Big B.
As intriguing as the teaser, the trailer gives you a closer look into the lives of the slum kids and how it changed because of Big B’s character. The film is based on a real-life story that is inspired by the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of Nagpur-based NGO Slum Soccer, who encouraged slum kids into learning football and impacted their lives positively.
The trailer makes you feel all kinds of emotions, leaving you smiling at the end of it. Here are the three things we liked about it:
Amitabh Bachchan as Vijay Barse
We already have mentioned that Bachchan’s character is charming, but the more we speak about him is less. The character will make you feel empathetic, proud, happy and sad in just the two minutes of the trailer. His camaraderie with his fellow co-stars and his ability to express emotions so beautifully makes the trailer more intriguing.
Nagraj Manjule’s Bollywood Debut With Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar
The trio – Manjule, Rajguru and Thosar created waves with their film Sairat. The three will now be seen working together with Big B in Jhund. A glimpse of Manjule’s crazy directorial skills can be seen in the trailer and it only leaves you wanting for more. While we see the stars of Sairat for only a few moments, you can’t help but notice how good they are in those scenes. We can’t wait to see what magic the trio creates this time.
The Background Music
If Ajay-Atul are creating music, you know already that you will be grooving to it. The teaser gave us a hint about what the background music of the film will sound like and the trailer just introduces you to the magnificent pieces that we will get to listen to when you watch the film. We can’t wait for the album of the film to be unveiled.
Jhund is set to release on March 4, 2022. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, the lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and music is given by Ajay-Atul.
