Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is still one of the biggest and most successful Bollywood movies released and it is considered the epitome of romcom genre movies. The fact that it is still shown at the Maratha Mandir and manages to go houseful, should be enough to prove it’s worth.

 

Almost all of us can say that we’ve watched DDLJ more than once, but not Ajay Devgn. In a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle, Kajol said, “Yes! This is one film of mine which Ajay has not seen till date. I have asked Ajay the same question many a time, but he has not given me a satisfactory answer. He told me, ‘There is one reason but I shall not reveal it to you.’ Why don’t you guys put him in the spot during your next interaction with him and let me know the reason for him not watching DDLJ till date?”

 

She further goes to shed some light on the impact the movie had. She said: “I remember after watching DDLJ, many couples had decided to get married in the same style. Furthermore, those in a relationship were so touched by this romantic tale that they decided to get married as well.”

 

It’s tough to think that someone doesn’t want to watch DDLJ, but Ajay definitely has his reasons. And we hope he discloses them soon, because we are dying of curiosity.
