When Adele found love with Simon Konecki, it seemed like the queen of heartbreak music had found love at last. However, Adele and her estranged husband, Konecki, announced that they were breaking up in 2019 and now, the couple have finally reached an agreement on their divorce. Konecki and Adele have an eight-year-old son together called Angelo.

Nearly two years after announcing their split, the couple filed a judgment packet in the Los Angeles court on the 15th of January this year.

“Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment,” the singer’s representatives had told the Associated Press at the time.

The Daily Mail reports that in the agreement, the estranged couple has decided how they’re going to split Adele’s $190 million (nearly ₹1400 crore) fortune. Adele, who makes over $80,000 a day in royalties alone, had not signed a prenup with Konecki.

“Hollywood divorces can drag on for years and become extremely ugly. Adele and Simon clearly don’t want that. They are both committed to keeping the details as private as possible for the sake of their son. They are trying to work out their issues,” a source had told US Weekly.

Adele made her relationship with Konecki public in 2012 and Angelo was born a few months later. In May of 2018, the two of them got married and the popular songstress even gifted her then-husband, Konecki a house in February 2019, only to separate with him two months later.

Adele is one of the world’s most cherished musicians with over 15 Grammy Awards and nine Brit Awards. She’s given the world chartbusters like Rolling in the Deep, Hello, Someone Like You and Skyfall.
