Ever wondered what would it be like to explore Indian cuisine from a gastronomical point of view? Well, now is the time. Swiss watch company Victorinox joined hands with chef Ranveer Brar to bring an exciting video series titled India in 21 Recipes.
That’s right. Some of the most timeless Indian dishes from all over the country will be curated by chef Brar in an unforgettable manner that leaves you drooling. The culinary narrative discovers delicious and diverse Indian cuisine, where he is seen creating 21 dishes from different states, from scratch. And the best part? These mouth-watering dishes are made using premium Victorinox cutlery. Apart from curating sumptuous food, chef Brar focuses on educating the viewer on tips, tricks, and valuable information about these Swiss knives, their anatomy, and the correct way of using, sharpening, and maintaining them.
From Amritsari Chhole, Fish Paturi, Murgh Awadhi Korma, Chicken Kabab, Hyderabadi Biryani, and Prawn Balchao to Jaipur Gatta Curry and others, the series showcases the invention of these opulent and extravagant dishes. The show is available to watch on YouTube on Victorinox India’s channel.
Commenting on the collaboration, Brar explains how Victorinox’s range of professional and kitchen knives is a perfect addition to your food space. “I am extremely excited about this collaboration with Victorinox. Their kitchen knives have outstanding quality and I simply love preparing my dishes with them,” he adds.
Speaking of the famed knives, the Swiss company has launched a limited-edition knife: The Carving Knife Damast Limited Edition 2022, which is made of the famous Damasteel. Part of the Victorinox household knives ranges, this high-quality chef’s tool follows on from the success of the two Damast Limited Editions in 2020 and 2021. A highly functional eye-catcher, this new tool represents ancient craftsmanship, where the knife’s precision edges enable effortless slicing and clean cuts with the finest cutting surfaces. A truly ultimate kitchen tool for easy slicing and dicing of meats, fish, herbs, vegetables, or fruits, and an ideal instrument for amateur and professional chefs.
