BVLGARI OCTO ROMA NATURALIA MALACHITE 103462
The new Octo is part of a new range of high-jewellery men’s tourbillons where Bulgari goes further than others in creating bespoke and customisable watches. The almost entirely green watch displayed here with a green alligator strap comes in a 44mm rose gold case. The middle case is made from green malachite stone. The thin slide between the skeletonised components of the tourbillon movement, and the indexes are also decorated with malachite. In two similar versions in the collection (Octo Roma Naturalia Onyx 103487 and Octo Roma Naturalia Lapis Lazuli 103488), the case is made from platinum and titanium, while the middle case is in lapis lazuli and black onyx, respectively. What is innovative, though, is that the buyer has the option to mix and match the materials used for the case and the middle case in the three versions. As a result of which, 30 possible iterations of the watch are currently available to be customised. For each configuration, the buyer will see an overview of the design and the product details via an email before the work starts. The customer is also updated at each major step in the watch construction, with details and pictures.

Additional accessories include a matte black resin bezel, a band imprinted with the numerals ‘3229’, and a fabric strap with a luminescent and reflective finish in black and white.
