An cops can’t keep using physical force, FIRs and lathis to discourage people from roaming about. But there are also a few peaceful ways of deterring people from stepping out, and that is through some coronavirus-related artwork.

Cops in southern India have been adopting rather unconventional methods by wearing coronavirus-shaped helmets and holding sticks and shields with coronavirus on them.

The move was soon adopted by ploice forces from other states as well. While in Bengaluru, traffic police personnel begin wearing their own version of coronavirus-themed helmets, police officers in Andhra Pradesh chose to conduct an awareness campaign by being atop horses that had the coronavirus painted over them.
