A gun-slinging Samuel L. Jackson is reason enough to cheer
We all love a good-old Tarantino fest. No one guarantees fast-paced story telling, layered and inherently stylish characters and an explosive plot, quite the way Quentin Tarantino does. And Hateful Eight appears to be no different. It reunites the star cast that made magic in Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs – Tim Roth, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Madsen who are joined by 80’s action Supremo Kurt Russel. Tarantino seems to have developed a taste for retribution and stylised gun-shooting sequences so it’s no surprise that he’s making another western.
After seeing the thoroughly entertaining Django Unchained, we get to see eight westerners with malevolent intent cross paths in a stagecoach stopover. It’s fair to assume that not all of them will be as cheerful by the end of the film.
