Lamborghini’s Racing Division Unveils The New SC18 Alston

Lamborghini’s racing division Squadra Corse created a beast

Squadra Corse, Lamborghini’s racing division revealed the first ever one-off hypercar, the SC18 Alston. Its been based on the Aventador SVJ but adopts design elements from other Lambo models as well.

Since the car was made by Lambo’s racing division, the car naturally embodies a track race car, but it is also street legal, which means you can take this bad boy to get some groceries too. The car’s DNA is for the track though and there’s no doubt about that.

It draws inspiration from the Huracan GT3 Evo with those huge air vents on the hood and also borrows from the Super Trofeo Evo’s book of design with those arches, fins and scoops.

At the back, you’ll see a huge carbonfibre wing that comes with three types of adjustments that can be controlled manually. You can choose maximum drag, mid-range which is more of a balanced setup and minimum drag best suited to reach higher speeds in the least amount of time.

Open up the hood and you’ll find a monster in the form of a 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. It makes 76bhp and 720 nm of torque. It also has custom exhausts which according to Lamborghini, produces a “unique” sound, so this car promises to roar unlike any other supercar you’ve ever heard.
