Porsche has launched the latest version of one of its most successful cars, the Macan. Even though the compact SUV does not have a lot of drastic changes made to it, there are some noteworthy ones. Take a look at them below:

Engine

Starting right away with what lies under the hood, the new 2019 Porsche Macan comes with an enhanced 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine which produces 252 hp and delivers a maximum torque of 370 Nm. The Macan S, on the other hand, is more powerful and faster than its regular counterpart. The Macan S is powered by a new 3.0-litre V6 turbo engine that churns out 354 hp and 480 Nm of torque. 

Interiors

The interiors of the new Macan have been given a slight makeover. The car now comes with an optional GT sports steering wheel, a new 27.6 cm touchscreen infotainment system and seats covered in Alcantara. 

Servicing

If you want to own a car like this, you’ll need to service it regularly and do it well. Porsche knows that very well and has hence, introduced a new crest care package that includes yearly packages with special services involved. 

Headlamps and Taillights

The headlamps of the Macan have been changed slightly, but probably the biggest aesthetic change this year is the new single-line LED strip taillight. It definitely gives the car a lot of character and makes it very Porsche-y.

Pricing

While the Macan S has been priced at Rs 85.3 lakh, the Macan starts at Rs 69.98 lakh, making it almost Rs 10 lakh cheaper than the previous generation Macan.
