5 Best Innings By Virat Kohli in T20 World Cups

Reliving the best moments of Vitherat Kohli in T20Is

So here it ends. Virat Kohli's most significant innings in the shortest format of the game turned out to be his last in an Indian jersey. It was an innings that finally broke the decade-long curse of the Indian team, an innings that paved the way for the T20 World Cup title, and an innings that also ensured that Rohit Sharma's tenure as a captain doesn't go without a single ICC trophy. Kohli saw three dismissals in quick succession, improvised his method, curbing down the intent he had shown in the first over against Marco Jansen, and stood tall to propel India to a commanding total. His 76 off 59 deliveries wasn't the most fluent of his knocks, but got the job done at the grand stage. When he came to collect the Player of the Match trophy, he confirmed his retirement from the format. The timing was unexpected, but the decision not so. We look at some of the magical moments of Kohli's glittering T20I career.

The classic Kohli innings. The template that he sticks by and many deride him for, not always wrongly, but it's with the same template Kohli has won numerous matches for India.
